Terms of Service

Next Role Studio · Last updated: November 1, 2026

These terms describe how Next Role Studio (the “studio,” “we,” or “us”) provides its services, and what you agree to when you sign up. They are written in plain language on purpose. Where a signed service agreement applies to your engagement, that agreement and these terms should be read together; if they conflict, the signed service agreement controls.

The rule everything else follows: we guarantee the work — scored, truthful applications, prepared on time, with a scoreboard you can check. We never guarantee a job, an interview, or a salary. Anyone who promises you an outcome is selling you something else.

1. The service

Next Role Studio is a human-run, done-for-you job search service. For each client we maintain a criteria profile; scan job boards and the open web; score each opening against that profile; prepare tailored applications and cover letters from facts the client has verified; draft recruiter outreach and follow-ups for the client's approval; draft post-interview follow-ups for the client's approval; prepare reference briefs; file and triage application mail; prepare interview briefs; and report all of it in a private client portal. Nothing public is sent under a client's name without that client's approval. We never ask for or store a client's LinkedIn or job-board passwords.

2. Managed Search plans and salary bands

Managed Search is a monthly subscription priced by the annual salary of the roles you are targeting:

Target salary bandRecruiter outreach includedPrice
Under $75K10 messages / week$99 / month
$75K–$110K25 messages / week$149 / month
$110K–$160K35 messages / week$249 / month
$160K–$220K50 messages / week$399 / month
$220K+80 messages / week$549 / month
Executive handlingNo preset weekly cap (see §3)$749 / month

Band coverage. A plan covers roles paying up to the top of its band: the under-$75K plan covers roles up to $75K, the $75K–$110K plan covers roles up to $110K, and so on. The $220K+ band and Executive handling have no salary cap. Roles above your band may be shown in your portal, clearly marked, but they are not worked under your plan. Moving up a tier raises your cap from the moment the change takes effect (§6).

Executive handling seats. Executive handling is limited to 15 clients at a time. If it is full when you sign up or upgrade, you will be placed on its waitlist and your plan will not change until a seat opens.

No success fee. There is no placement fee and no percentage-of-salary fee, ever.

Included on every plan. Every Managed Search plan also includes, at no extra charge: offer review & negotiation help — a structured written review of an offer you have received (what looks strong, where there is room, and a suggested counter with talking points); post-interview thank-you follow-ups drafted for your approval; and reference prep briefs for your references. Executive handling includes Negotiation Plus instead of the standard review: everything in the standard review plus a total-compensation analysis, multi-round counter-draft revisions as a negotiation moves, priority handling, and a 30-minute strategy call on request.

3. Recruiter outreach and LinkedIn Premium

Recruiter outreach is included in every Managed Search plan at the weekly volume shown above. Unused weekly volume does not roll over, except where an add-on or reward states otherwise.

LinkedIn Premium is required for recruiter outreach to work properly, on your own LinkedIn account and at your own cost. Outreach does not begin until your Premium status is verified: you provide proof (a subscription screenshot or receipt) and the studio verifies it. Verification lasts 30 days and must be renewed with fresh proof. If verification lapses, or the studio suspends outreach because Premium is not active, outreach pauses automatically until verification is restored. Pausing outreach does not pause the rest of your plan or its billing.

“No preset weekly cap” on Executive handling means there is no fixed number in your plan; outreach remains subject to the limits of the platforms it runs on, reasonable volume for a single search, and the verification requirement above.

4. Add-ons: pay, and access follows

Optional add-ons are bought inside your portal. When a payment succeeds, the add-on is credited to your account immediately and automatically — no manual approval step.

Add-on purchases are final once credited, except where §6 applies or the add-on could not be delivered at all.

5. Referrals: outreach rewards and next-month discounts

Every client receives a personal referral link, shown near the top of the portal and in the Refer a friend area, and may share it with up to 5 people at a time by email or text from the end-of-signup invite step or the portal.

If you move to Stay Ready after landing a role (§9), referrals you make from then on earn free Stay Ready months instead of outreach and discounts — one free month per confirmed referral, up to 6 free months in any rolling 12-month period, applied as a credit against Stay Ready fees. Rewards you already earned while on Managed Search are unaffected.

6. Plan changes, cancellation, and refunds

7. Job Seeker Website packages

The Job Seeker Website is a one-time add-on available only to active Next Role Studio clients, in six packages aligned to the same salary bands as Managed Search: Launch $149 (under $75K), Career $249 ($75K–$110K), Professional $349 ($110K–$160K), Leadership $499 ($160K–$220K), Executive $649 ($220K+), and Executive handling $749. You are offered the package for your own band first and may choose it or any higher package; packages below your band are not offered. Executive handling website packages share the 15-seat limit in §2.

8. Search Starter

Search Starter is a one-time package ($199) open to anyone — you do not need to be a Managed Search client. It includes three deliverables, provided through a portal account: (1) a criteria intake — your target roles, salary aims, locations, deal-breakers, and timeline; if you are changing fields, the intake includes a career-pivot map of your transferable skills against the field you are moving into; (2) a resume review against applicant-tracking standards and a structural rebuild; and (3) a full review of your LinkedIn profile with findings and suggested wording. Search Starter is not a job search: no applications are prepared or submitted and no outreach is sent under it. When your Search Starter is complete, the full $199 is credited toward Managed Search if you start a Managed Search plan within 30 days of completion; the credit applies to your first month and expires unused after those 30 days. Search Starter is not a subscription and does not renew.

9. Stay Ready (alumni plan)

Stay Ready is a monthly plan ($19/month) for clients whose Managed Search has ended because they landed a role. It includes a monthly freshness note on your resume and LinkedIn, delivered in your portal, and a monthly digest of roles the studio spots that look like a strong fit for you. Stay Ready is a watch service only: no applications are prepared or submitted, no recruiter outreach is sent, and no salary-band coverage applies. Stay Ready is billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month, under §6. Referral rewards on Stay Ready are described in §5.

10. Your responsibilities

11. No guarantee of employment outcomes

We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or any salary or start date. Hiring decisions belong to employers and depend on the market and the interview room. What we promise is the work described in these terms: honest, scored, verifiable applications and follow-through, with a scoreboard that shows exactly where things stand. Testimonials and the week-one results described on our site are one real search run by the studio's Founder on himself before launch; they are not client results and not a promise about your search.

12. Liability, in plain terms

The service is provided as described here, and we work to run it carefully and continuously. To the extent the law allows: the studio is not liable for hiring decisions, platform outages or policy changes at LinkedIn or job boards, or indirect losses such as a role you did not get. If something does go wrong that is our fault, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with its date, and material changes will be noted in clients' portals before they take effect. Prices for existing subscribers change only at renewal, with notice. Questions about these terms: use the contact form and choose “General question.”
