Privacy Policy
Next Role Studio is a one-operator, done-for-you job search studio. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why, where it goes, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact form on our site — that form is the way to reach us about privacy, too.
The short version: This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers, analytics, or advertising pixels. We never sell personal data. We collect only what we need to reply to you and to run your job search, and your portal information is never shared with another client.
1. What this website collects
Browsing this site collects nothing. The site is a static page. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and stores nothing on your device. The only request your browser makes to a third party is to Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces used on the page; that service does not set cookies through this site.
The contact form. If you use the contact form, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name and email address, so we can reply to you
- What you're contacting about (sign-up, a general question, or an employer cohort)
- Your situation, your target salary range, and your message
Your message is delivered to the studio through a forwarding service using an opaque token — the destination inbox is held by that service and does not appear anywhere in this site's code. We use what you send only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to set up your search. Sending the form is not signing up for a mailing list, and we do not add form senders to marketing campaigns.
2. What the client portal holds
If you become a client, your private portal holds the working record of your search. That includes:
- Account details — your name, email address, plan and salary band, and your sign-in security choices (including whether you turned on optional two-factor authentication)
- Your criteria profile — target roles, industries, salary floor, location preferences, deal-breakers, and your standing application answers (such as work authorization and availability), which you confirm with us as true
- Your documents — your resume and any files you store in your document vault (for example offer letters, certifications, and references), plus materials we prepare for you such as tailored cover letters
- Your search activity — openings scored, applications prepared and submitted, approvals you give, recruiter outreach sent on your behalf, replies and interview activity, and your monthly search reports
- LinkedIn Premium verification — if you use recruiter outreach, the proof you upload (such as a subscription screenshot or receipt) and its verification status, which is re-checked on a 30-day cycle
- Billing records — your plan, purchases, referral credits and discounts, and payment history. Card payments, once live, are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers
- Referral information — your referral link and code, and the fact that a referred person signed up, so rewards and discounts can be credited
Each client's portal is separate. Your information is never visible to another client, and we never ask for, hold, or store your LinkedIn or job-board passwords.
3. How we use your information
- To run your job search: scoring openings, preparing applications and cover letters, sending recruiter outreach you have approved, filing and triaging replies, and preparing you for interviews
- To operate your account: billing, add-ons, referral rewards and discounts, notifications you choose to receive, and your monthly report
- To build your Job Seeker Website, if you buy one — including registering your domain in your name using the details you provide in your portal
- To reply to messages you send us and to keep the records a small business is expected to keep
We do not use your information to advertise to you, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell personal data.
4. Who else sees it
Only where the work itself requires it:
- Employers and recruiters receive the applications, cover letters, and outreach that you approve — that is the service you hired us for
- Service providers that carry the mechanics: the form-forwarding service for contact messages, the payment provider for card payments once live, and the domain registrar for client websites (your domain is registered in your name)
- Legal requirements — if a valid legal process requires disclosure, we will comply and, where we are allowed to, tell you
No one else. Your search being confidential — including from a current employer — is a design rule of the studio, not an afterthought.
5. How long we keep it
Contact-form messages are kept while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Client portal records are kept while your account is active. When your search ends, you can ask us to delete your portal information; we will delete it except for the basic billing and contract records we are required to retain, which are kept only as long as that requirement lasts. Documents in your vault can be deleted by you at any time, and deleting a vault document never removes copies already used in work you submitted or approved.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access — ask what we hold about you and we will show you
- Correction — tell us anything that is wrong and we will fix it; your applications are only ever built from facts you have verified
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to the limited retention described above
- Notifications — you control which portal notifications you receive, and email copies where offered, from your notification preferences
- Approvals — nothing public is ever sent under your name without your approval, and you can withdraw from the service at any time as described in our Terms of Service
To use any of these, contact us through the form on our site. We reply within one business day.
7. Security, in plain terms
Portal access requires a verified email address, and optional two-factor authentication by email code is offered at setup. Client accounts are isolated from one another. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but access is limited to the studio's operation, and your credentials for third-party services are never requested or stored.
8. Children
This service is for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for clients, note the change in the portal before it takes effect.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or your information: use the contact form and choose “General question.” Messages are answered by the Founder of Next Role Studio.
