Next Role Studio Done-for-you job search

Tired of applying
into silence?

Next Role Studio is a done-for-you job search for professionals at every stage — built for the part that wears people down: applications that vanish, statuses that never move, and weeks with no word at all. A human operator runs your search in one private portal. You see a specific status for every application, you get an update even when there's no change, and nothing goes out in your name without your yes. Nothing is ever sprayed, stretched, or faked.

Your account, portal, and analytics unlock the moment you sign up — and your first curated batch timing is promised up front, in writing, when your search starts, so you never pay and wonder when anything begins. The human layer only scales so far, and that's the point.

01 — The difference

Tired of irrelevant jobs and answers you never approved?

Application bots exist, and hiring managers can smell them. They blast volume, send you roles you'd never take, invent answers in your name, and leave you guessing what was actually submitted. Next Role Studio was built the other way: fewer, better applications — every one scored against your criteria, built only from your real record, approved by you before it sends, and defensible in an interview.

Application bots

  • ×Hundreds of generic applications fired off on autopilot — most to roles you'd never take, in places you won't move to, below the pay you'd accept
  • ×Auto-answers that drift into fiction — and surface later, in the interview, as yours
  • ×A generic, AI-sounding resume sent everywhere — plus your account logins handed to software that plays by nobody's rules
  • ×Then silence: a vague “pending” that never moves, no update when nothing changes, and success measured in applications sent, not conversations started

Next Role Studio

  • ✓Every opening scored against your salary floor, deal-breakers, and record before we apply — weak fits never carry your name
  • ✓Answers and resumes built only from facts verified with you — tailored from your real record, never generic filler. If a form can't be answered truthfully, it's parked — and you hear why
  • ✓You never share a password, and nothing is submitted without your yes. Work happens in your own accounts, with you in the loop
  • ✓A specific status you can always see — stage, last updated, and next step — an update even when there's no change, learning from every pass, and success measured in recruiter conversations, interviews, and offers

02 — Why this exists

Built by someone who lived the black hole

I built this system because I needed it myself. When my own role ended, I ran my search the way I'd run any program I'd ever been responsible for: criteria first, every opportunity scored, every claim on every application verifiable, and a scoreboard I could trust — instead of sending applications into silence and hoping.

Early on, the search already felt different: applications going out to roles that actually fit, recruiter conversations starting, and my LinkedIn working for me again. It worked because it was disciplined, not desperate — and because nothing in it required me to become someone I'm not on a form.

Next Role Studio is that system, run for you — with the same rule I ran it under: the human stays in charge.

03 — Find your lane

Which one sounds like you?

Pick the closest situation and we'll point you at the right starting point. Your monthly tier itself is set simply by the salary you're targeting — see Pricing above.

Managed Search, from day one.

The first two weeks decide the shape of a search: severance clock ticking, resume stale, LinkedIn still describing the old job. Managed Search fixes all of that, promises your first curated batch timing up front — no paid-but-invisible slow start — gets the first scored application wave out the door once you've approved it, and then keeps the pipeline fed — new scans, new applications, recruiter follow-ups — so momentum never depends on how much energy you have on a given Tuesday. Your tier is set by the salary you're targeting, starting at $99/mo.

Recommended: Managed Search at your target-salary tier

Managed Search, run quietly.

You have a job; what you don't have is ten spare hours a week to run a serious search. Managed Search does the scanning, scoring, and applying under your criteria while you stay focused — nothing posts publicly, nothing goes out under your name without your approval, every application shows a specific status, and an update lands even in a no-change week — so five minutes in the portal keeps you oriented. Step up to Executive handling if you want outreach campaigns and strategy calls in the mix.

Recommended: Managed Search (Executive handling if you want the strategy layer)

Outplacement, priced per engagement.

If you're planning a reduction, your people deserve more than a workshop and a template. We run each person's actual search — assets rebuilt, applications scored and submitted, recruiters managed, progress reported back to you in aggregate. It's the version of outplacement we'd want our own names attached to.

05 — Straight answers

Questions, answered the way we answer application forms

Do you guarantee I'll get a job?

No — and you should walk away from anyone who does. What we guarantee is the work — in plain language, with no guarantee fine print: verified applications to scored openings, assets that represent you properly, every follow-up drafted on time, and a portal scoreboard that shows exactly where things stand — stage, last updated, and next step — updated daily, with an update even when there's no change. Outcomes depend on the market and the interview room; effort and honesty are ours to control, so those are what we promise.

Do you need my LinkedIn or job-board passwords?

Never. We don't ask for, hold, or store client credentials. Applications are prepared and submitted with you in the loop, in your own accounts — the studio assists and operates, you stay the account holder. Anything public under your name requires your explicit approval first.

Do I get my own portal? Do I run an AI agent myself?

You get the portal; you don't run an agent. Every client gets a private search portal — one page with your live scoreboard, every application in flight with its stage, last updated date, and next step, and the drafts waiting on your approval. If a week brings no change, you still hear that, plainly, instead of silence. Notifications work the same way: action-needed items reach you right away, the rest arrive as a digest you control in your portal. Behind it, a human operator runs the system for you: the scanning, scoring, writing, and filing happen on our side, and your job is the part only you can do — reviewing and approving what goes out under your name. No software to learn, no agent to babysit, and nothing is ever sent without your yes.

How is this different from the auto-apply tools?

Relevance, approval, and verifiability. The tools optimize for applications sent — often to irrelevant roles, with guessed answers and generic resumes. We optimize for applications you'd be proud to defend in an interview. Every opening is scored against your criteria and deal-breakers before your name goes on it, every answer traces back to your real record, your resume is tailored from that record, a human reviews the work, nothing sends without your yes, and when an employer passes we learn from it instead of sending you the same wrong fit again. It's slower per application and dramatically faster to an actual offer conversation.

Can my search include roles above my plan's salary band?

Your plan covers roles up to the top of its salary band — the under-$75K plan covers roles paying up to $75K, the $110K–$160K plan covers roles up to $160K, and so on. Roles above your band still show in your portal's Open Jobs board, clearly marked, so you can see what's up there — and moving up a tier raises your cap and opens them. It's a fairness rule, not fine print: the fee stays proportional to the role you're actually targeting.

How much recruiter outreach is included?

Recruiter outreach is included on every Managed Search tier, with a weekly message volume that grows with your plan: 10 messages a week on the under-$75K tier, 25 on $75K–$110K, 35 on $110K–$160K, 50 on $160K–$220K, 80 on $220K+, and unlimited on Executive handling. Recruiter outreach needs LinkedIn Premium on your account to work properly.

Who is this for?

Professionals at every stage — early-career candidates landing a first serious role, mid-career professionals making a move, and senior leaders running a confidential search. If a job search matters enough to run properly, the tool fits: pricing scales with the salary you're targeting, from $99/mo for roles under $75K up to Executive handling at $749/mo — and Executive handling is limited to 15 seats at first, so that tier never gets crowded. The method travels across fields: criteria, scoring, honest applications, relentless follow-up.

Can you build me a personal website?

Yes — if you're an active Next Role Studio job-seeker client. The Job Seeker Website add-on comes in six one-time packages aligned to your target salary: Launch Site $149 for targets under $75K, Career Site $249 for $75K–$110K, Professional Site $349 for $110K–$160K, Leadership Site $499 for $160K–$220K, Executive Site $649 for $220K+, and Executive handling $749 for the most senior or confidential searches. Higher packages add scope — expanded work samples, a separate Work / Projects page, case-study sections, a three-page personal-brand structure, and more — see the full package list under Pricing. On every package you own the site and the domain: the domain is registered in your own name with the first year included in your package price — no separate domain price or line item — and renewals after year one are yours. You never leave your portal for setup, domain registration, or updates: you provide everything here and we do the registration and build work in the background. After the site goes live, ongoing edits are yours unless you separately buy help — no ongoing support is included. This is a clients-only add-on, not a public website offer, and it isn't the $949 business website Build.

How many clients do you take on at once?

Because the human layer is the product. Every application wave is reviewed, every recruiter draft is written for one specific person, and every scoreboard is real. Five clients per operator is what keeps that true. Sign up and you'll hear back personally; when we're at capacity, new clients join a waitlist rather than diluting the work.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in your portal — no billing traps, no exit interviews, no retention scripts, and no surprise charge to discover later. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current month, stated plainly before you ever pay. The honest goal of the subscription is to be cancelled because you got placed.

What is Search Starter?

A one-time package — $199 — that builds the groundwork of a search without a subscription: a criteria intake (with a career-pivot map if you're changing fields: your transferable skills mapped to the new field, and the gaps to close), a resume ATS review and structural rebuild, and a full LinkedIn review with copy-ready suggested wording. The full $199 is credited toward Managed Search if you join within 30 days of completion. Search Starter does not include applications or outreach — it's the foundations, done properly, and it's open to anyone, not just clients.

Is offer review included, or does it cost extra?

Included — on every Managed Search tier, at no extra charge. When an offer lands, you send it to us through your portal and get a structured written review: what looks strong, where there's room, and a suggested counter with talking points. Executive handling gets Negotiation Plus: everything in the standard review plus a total-compensation analysis, multi-round counter-draft support as the negotiation moves, priority handling, and a 30-minute strategy call on request.

What happens after I land a role?

Hopefully, you cancel — that's the point. If you'd like us to keep an eye on things, Stay Ready is $19 a month for clients whose search has ended: a monthly freshness note on your resume and LinkedIn, and a digest of great-fit roles we spot for you. It's a watch, not a search — no applications and no outreach run under it. Stay Ready members also keep their referral link working: each confirmed signup earns a free month of Stay Ready, up to six free months a year.
